After checking in with a great poem read by YYYYYYYY called ZZZZZZZZZZZZ, we moved into the day.
Sharing our sacred Object
What is your object, why is it important to share today?
- Chris Heuer - My Treo 650. It really is so simple - I had intended to bring my stone from a medicine wheel we did in the mojave dessert for my Vision Quest, but I forgot since I had to leave so early and was rushing about so much. Same with the Treo, in rushing about I did not get the antenna for it since it was broken. I had to buy a temporary phone until it gets repaired. This was a reminder of how I miss things by rushing about too much, and on a broader level a reminder of getting grounded in the moment and grounded in my body rather than rushing in my head. Of course, it is also a reminder of the client which has gotten me to this point in life, Palm / Treo. It is also a symbol of my endeavours. On a side note, I had thought to purchase a copy of The Four Agreements to put in the circle since it was such a powerful understanding that I was blessed with. In an odd twist of fate, the bookstore I went to had just 1 copy of the book. Turns out the clerk never heard of it before, but she eventually found out that the 1 copy had just come in that day... but it was reserved for someone, so I could not bring it and improvised with the Treo...
Crossing the River

The most important lesson I took away was a reaffirmation of the fact that a basic understanding of the process of collaboration should be established first, then a focus on clarity of communications that ensures full group attention and participation. With a real understanding of the threat known, then action should commence.
